From time to time, everyone needs someone to talk things over with, a devil’s advocate or second opinion, a steer in the right direction or just some emotional support.

Silent partner mentoring gives you access to Dorothy’s extensive network of successful entrepreneurs, directors and people with unique or specific skills. This will help you identify any additional resources you need, as well as expanding your own network of contacts and expertise.

The service is available to you or anyone in your business who needs temporary or ongoing support to sustain their performance or develop the tactical skills or confidence to perform at a higher level.
You can have one-to-one’s with Dorothy on regular basis (say weekly or monthly meetings) or just when specific business problems arise. To find out more please get in touch:
Exploratory session - free of charge
- Dorothy will arrange to meet at a time and place convenient for you.
- During the first meeting she will want to get to know you and your business, clarify the objectives for your sessions and establish if they are for you, other members of your staff or teams of people.
- She will then give you a fully-costed written proposal setting out your objectives and time frames, so you are both clear about what you want to achieve.
Individual mentoring
Dorothy will then work with you (or other staff) one-to-one for the agreed period - this can be at your premises or on a neutral site. Everything discussed at these sessions is strictly confidential and will not be divulged to anyone.
At the end of the period, there will be a debrief session where you can decide if you wish to continue the mentoring for a further period.
Team mentoring
Another option could be to mentor your team. This could take the form of one to one’s and / or some team work. The program format for this would start by building rapport with the team and working with them to identify any issues they feel need addressing.
A typical team mentoring programme could take the format of:
- Self development
- Understanding the different styles of working
- Looking at the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the team
- How we can help each other in areas of weaknesses
- Motivation.
Within the team mentoring we will be focusing on positive attitudes which would be done subtly and with some fun.
